Sophia is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia
Association of Clinical Counsellors and holds a Master’s in Counselling Psychology and Art Therapy from Adler University Vancouver Campus. She currently works as a Grief Counsellor at Peace Arch Hospice Society in South Surrey in addition to her private practice, Paws & Palettes Counselling Services, which she operates out of Namastables Wellness Centre in Langley. Sophia supports children, youth, adults, and families through traditional talk-based counselling as well as specialized art, play, nature-based, and animal-included therapeutic modalities. Sophia’s work is centred around her belief in the healing potential of human connection, animal bonds, natural settings, and creative exploration. Sophia collaborates with clients to create customized treatment plans that are best suited to their individual or family needs.
