I’m Sophia and this is one of my animal companions and co-therapists, Felicia (she’s a spunky little bearded dragon who was a rescue).
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and hold a Master’s in Counselling Psychology and Art Therapy from Adler University Vancouver Campus. I am the owner and operator of Paws & Palettes Counselling Services, which I offer in-person at Namastables Wellness Centre in Langley and online. I also work as a Grief Counsellor at a Hospice Society in South Surrey. I support children, youth, adults, and families through traditional talk-based counselling approaches as well as specialized art, play, animal-included, and nature-based therapeutic modalities. My work is centred around my belief in the healing potential of human connection, animal bonds, natural settings, and creative exploration. I collaborate with clients to create customized treatment plans that are best suited to their individual or family needs.
